Great for wildlife safari filming
Used this on safari vehicles in Ranthambore to capture wildlife footage. The suction held on the vehicle body even on rough tracks. The camera angle was stable and the footage was excellent. Perfect solution for safari filmmakers who cannot drill into vehicle.

Lost suction after a few uses
Initially the suction was strong and I was impressed. But after about 5 uses the suction cup started losing its grip much faster. Even after cleaning the cup and surface it would not hold as strongly as before. The suction mechanism seems to wear out quickly.

Works but struggles in cold weather
The suction cup works well in normal conditions. But in cold weather the suction weakens noticeably. During a winter mountain drive the cup started losing grip after some time. Works fine in normal and warm conditions. Just be careful in the cold.

Average suction in hot weather
In normal weather the suction is good. But on very hot summer days in Rajasthan the suction weakened as the car body heated up. The camera did not fall but I was not comfortable leaving it unattended. Might be a material limitation in extreme heat.

Good but base needs cleaning regularly
The suction works well but the cup base needs to be cleaned regularly to maintain strong grip. If you let dust or dirt accumulate on the cup it loses suction quickly. If you are diligent about cleaning it works very well. Just an extra step in the process.
